Cliche as it sounds and probably is, I recite the Hail Mary. It's a habit from years of Catholic Schooling and is like a mantra. Thinking of the words erases the panic, thinking of the meaning takes it one step further. It takes me from one step to the next of releasing control and accepting the issue at hand. I also sing and go over every song I ever knew.
