Recently visited Sicily. Amazing beautiful place, beautiful people, amazing food, amazing landscape. But this hurt starving dog walked in front of our car and we stopped and got him help, was in vet hospital for 3 months and we decided to adopt him and bring him home to Brooklyn. A very difficult thing to do. Our dog Noto is the most peaceful creature. He teaches everyone who meets him about gentleness. All I could think of was how could this animal who has suffered so much be so gentle and loving. It gives me peace to look in to his eyes.
He is a special creature. "What you do for the least of these you do for me."
