For me, there are a couple different ways. I find great peace in my dogs. This year we put down our beloved rescue dog, Chloe, after 12 years with her. Three months later, we rescued to sisters who bring such fun and joy and love into the house. When the outside world, work, politics and get in the way, their loving spirit is the route to the simpler, more peaceful life.

I am also a singer and find great peace in singing, whether in a chorale or as a soloist, being able to practice, and also share my music with friends and family bring great peace to me.
