Well, I'm a writer, so I write. I do jigsaw and crossword puzzles. And I do a little yoga. Very little. Now, as it happens, I'm very bad at meditating, so I've given up on that. Instead, at the end of my yoga routine, I read a poem. Out loud. By poets I've always meant to read but never quite got around to. By poets I've discovered along the way. From Tennyson to Thomas, Dickinson to Oliver. Reading out loud means you don't scan, you don't hurry through. Reading out loud, you can't think about your plans for the day. Reading out loud, you hear the music in the words.

And so I ask you:
In the midst of chaos, how do you find peace?
